Craig is a data-driven product design and development executive. He is an experienced Chief Data Officer, and previously served as Global Director of Enterprise Strategy at Tableau.
As a BI platform architect, he defined and deployed 2 global-scale data analytics tech stacks and teams. He is a thought-leader in DX, specializing in data transformation road-maps, process, privacy and secure access. His EDW platform design at Wargaming.net collected 300+ billion daily data events that fueled analysis for product design, development, monetization, marketing, competitive intel and executive strategy.
Craig served in data and technology executive positions at a Fortune 500 company, a $1B multi-national and at numerous startups. He is an experienced investor, securing over $30M in early stage funding for data virtualization, virtual reality, AI, gaming, simulations and biotechnology. He currently serves as COO and EVP Data for a FinTech platform that simplifies and accelerates Startup funding. He is a Partner at Data Divers, LLC.
While a Technology Evangelist for database and applications software at Apple, he co-authored the first-ever 3D, online multiplayer, VR video-game called "Spectre".
Craig lives in Austin with his wife and data-geeky family. He is an advanced PADI diver, golfer, author, eschatologist, instructor and industry speaker, and is widely traveled. He is also a Distinguished Faculty Member at General Assembly.
