I have been building user experiences on the web for over fifteen years. A love for creating gifs and flash animations evolved into building out geocities and myspace pages for friends and family. After a couple of years, I spun my part-time hobby into a full-time career. I have built sites for 21st Century Fox (including The Simpsons and So You Think You Can Dance), FX Networks, Team Snap, Home Advisor, and dozens of others. Becoming a sold developer gave me the keys to my own independence. It's key to balancing my parenting life and living a life full of rich experiences. I love giving others this sense of power over their own life and the machines we are all becoming increasingly dependent upon!
In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom, Courtney has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
