Courage Kimber

Consultant, DCG

Washington, D.C.

Courage Kimber’s story began with a simple choice... to never give up on her dreams. Early on in her career when met with defeat in a web design class, overwhelmed by the tech terms and in tears she decided to try again in a graphic design class which inspired her to pursue a career in technology. Another hurdle for her was her lack of technical skills and her non-technical education. She went from only knowing how to send emails and copy paste to being able to manage global technical teams, as well as take ideas and turn them into businesses and products for both large corporations and small businesses. Courage has served over 500 businesses in the consulting and coaching sectors for over 9 years. Her areas of expertise are in web strategy management, e-commerce, digital transformation and sales automation. She began her career in Los Angeles as a business coach working with an information products company. While in Los Angeles she worked with Nascar Digital Entertainment, William Morris Endeavor, Technicolor and the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. Her core strength is in project execution and has managed enterprise programs and product launches at a variety of companies and consulting firms including Accenture, BPA Technologies, Rosetta Stone, Apple, Univision, Walt Disney Parks and Resort, Technicolor, Sony PlayStation and Comcast NBCUniversal. Her desire to help Small Businesses and Nonprofits gain 21st century tech skills to increase their impact has led her to provide her Consulting and Business Coaching services through SCORE Philadelphia, The Taproot Foundation and now her very own Solopreneur Launch Program.

Courage received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Religious Studies from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles, Ca. Courage is currently based in Paris, France but operates her art consultancy and business coaching out of the US. She spends her free time going for runs near the Eiffel Tower, attending art exhibitions in galleries, connecting with family and friends on Whatsapp, taking photos of artwork and inspired photos from nature and everyday life.
