Claire Smalley is an artist and graphic designer who creates books, websites and visual brand identities. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art where she studied graphic design and creative writing and a Master of Arts in Publishing from London College of Communication. With a background in publication design and bookbinding, Claire appreciates the demands of visual storytelling — a simultaneous awareness of what is on and below the surface. In addition to art and design, she values meticulous typography and iced coffee.
