Claire Sawyers
Product Manager, Flippa
At 21, Claire was the founder of New Zealand’s largest charitable marketplace, DonateNZ, which despite the unconventional business model, was a fast starter, netting $150K in sales and facilitating 200,000 donations in year 1. In the following years, the startup received huge media coverage and public support.
Ready for a new challenge, 2 years ago Claire jumped the Tasman looking for opportunities and was promptly snapped up by the SitePoint Group. Currently, in her role as Product Manager at Flippa, she has been able to apply her experience to the challenge of scaling a multi-million dollar marketplace.
