Christopher Edwards provides counsel to a variety of companies, from start-ups to publicly-traded entities, and investment funds and other financing providers in the fields of venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, banking, securities and general corporate law. He also provides counsel to executives in employment and compensation matters.
He is a member of an angel investment group, HBS Alumni Angels of Greater New York, and serves as an advisory board member to companies including RailPod, Inc.
He previously worked in several large law firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, before serving as an Assistant General Counsel in the Bank of America legal department.
He graduated from Davidson College (B.A., 1995) and Harvard Law School (J.D., 1998).
