    Christine Wozniak

After graduating from law school and seeking a huge change of pace, Christine Wozniak became a digital nomad in 2016 as part of Remote Year's second cohort. She worked remotely doing freelance project management and legal research and traveled with 70 other digital nomads to a different country every month in South America and western Europe. After eight months in Remote Year, she and her partner continued traveling by themselves throughout southeast Asia and eastern Europe, during which time Christine transitioned to a remote job leading customer experience at a direct-to-consumer watch and leather goods startup. After two years abroad, Christine returned to the U.S. and spent a year as a domestic digital nomad, living in DC for a month and deciding to move there permanently at the end of 2018. She now works at a small appellate law firm at the Wharf, enjoying sporadic travel and channeling a tourist's sense of wonder and adventure as she explores DC.
