Christian Zimmerman launched Qoins in 2016 with his co-founder Nate Washington (the company’s CTO). After initially bootstrapping the company, they began raising funding and applying to accelerators to further their growth. Winning the FinTech South pitch competition of $50,000, being invited to numerous accelerator programs, and raising over $1 million in seed funding.

Qoins has been featured The Today Show, various personal finance blogs, and the Clark Howard show. Before launching Qoins he worked at HireWire. To date, Qoins has helped over users pay off over $4.5 million in debt and recently launched the MoneyTree feature along with a newly designed app.
