Chris is the Director of Digital Publishing at adidas and is responsible for social media marketing across Western Europe. Chris has worked for adidas since 2013, prior to which Chris led social strategy for sport related clients at Creative Digital agency Glue Isobar. Moving from agency to client side, Chris was one of the first social media managers in-house at adidas and over the past 5 years has helped drive digital transformation within the business, most notably as part of the adidas global key city Newsroom network. During this time, Chris has championed social innovation and scaled industry first ideas across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Most notably working on; 2014 World Cup, game changing Ultra Boost and NMD footwear launches, Manchester United kit launch and Stormzy activations to name but a few.
At the start of 2018 Chris moved into his current role and is now responsible for what the consumer sees from adidas on social media across Western Europe. Chris works closely with the adidas global newsroom network, brand marketing, media, ecommerce, sports marketing and entertainment & influencer marketing teams to ensure the brand has a consistent and engaging consumer journey across all social media platforms & beyond. Chris is passionate about helping people achieve their potential, from reverse mentoring within adidas to creating a pioneering approach to hiring and supporting the next generation of creative leaders.
