Chris Smith (he/him) is a Senior Software Engineer on the Employer Lifecycle team at Handshake. He has an MA in International Studies and a BA in International Studies and Russian. He began his programming career by starting a small web development shop in Denver and then later attended Turing School’s Backend Engineering program. Chris has worked mostly for startups and particularly enjoys the challenges of creating software that helps organizations and people bring about positive change. Outside of work, he likes practicing his photography, hiking, skiing, camping and spending time with his dog.
