Chris Parrish is a senior vice president at 2U, Inc., a global leader in education technology that partners with great universities to build, deliver, and support online graduate programs and certificates at scale. As SVP, he is responsible for overseeing university partnership health and leading new growth opportunities for universities across the eastern and southern U.S.
A perennial optimist driven by the ability to alter the future of higher education, Parrish enjoys building teams, products, and partnerships that thrive in challenging environments.
Parrish got his start at 2U in 2008 during the company’s first year with only dozen employees (for perspective, 2U now has 2,700+ employees worldwide). Following a few stints in investment banking and management consulting, he returned once again to help 2U meet its growth goals. Since 2014, Parrish has served in a variety of roles, including director of strategy and VP of university partnerships.
Parrish holds a B.S. in finance from University of Maryland College Park. He is a recent transplant to Texas by way of San Francisco and lives with his wife Jamie and dog, Olive, in Austin.
