Dr. Chris Larson came to medicine having already started a career in finance after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a business degree. Witnessing the deleterious effects of modern medical practice on relatives and loved ones, he decided to return to school and to practice medicine in an alternative fashion. Dr. Larson’s goal in medicine is, and has always been, to help people live a healthier life, with less pain, while reducing the risks of modern treatments. He is currently providing old-fashioned care through a new payment model called direct primary care. For a low monthly fee he provides highly accessible and technology supported care to hundreds of Austinites.
