Dr. Chris Choy leads the AI and Data Program Office, which focuses on driving innovation and adoption of AI technologies by local enterprises, at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). He has a wealth of experience in technology capability and solution development focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics. Prior to joining IMDA, Chris provided technical advisory for the set-up of a private venture focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. He was also with Thales where he headed Thales’s Singapore Corporate R&D Lab and led the development of emerging technology prototypes and solutions for commercial projects, and provided strategic inputs for engagements with the Defence and Public Sector Agencies in Singapore. He also headed the Data Science & Monetisation team in StarHub where he led his team to exploit telco Big Data for both internal and external businesses.
