Cherian Thomas is the Chairman and CEO of Spotluck, Inc. He has taken Spotluck from a Georgetown University Masters thesis to the #1 "dining" app on the iTunes App Store. Spotluck’s gamified UX makes dining fun for users while its proprietary Yield Management software maximizes restaurant profits through exclusive smart discounts that change based on day, time, weather, and other factors that affect restaurant occupancy. It’s a win-win platform that satisfies the belly and wallet (for users) and the bottom line (for restaurants). In his leadership role at Spotluck, Cherian actively maintains stakeholder relations while raising awareness of the company’s frontward facing brand and CSR initiatives. Spotluck has been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, CCTV, FOX, Bloomberg, and other major media outlets throughout the east coast. Cherian is the co-creator of patents (currently pending) in relation to dynamic pricing and input/output consumer behavioral software. He's a sales-driven, people-first leader who inspires his team to be the CEO of their own positions. Cherian currently serves on the Board of Associates at Hood College and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business; inspiring students to build, connect, and launch early-stage ventures.
