Chelsea is the Communications Specialist at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) and manages the shelter's social media presence as well as their email marketing, media relations, and more. The shelter's mission, "improving the lives of animals", is the driving force behind her work and guides the focus of her social media strategy. Since Chelsea started at AWLA, their social media presence has grown considerably, bringing new supporters to the organization, widening their community, and finding thousands of homes for homeless animals. She loves going to work every day and knowing that she is making a difference to the animals and people in her community.
