Chel Gilla is the founder and co-owner of Tselogs Corporation, an authentic & contemporary Filipino Restaurant with three branches in the Bay Area focusing on quality food, sustainability, and genuine customer service. Chel is a graduate of San Francisco State University, where she received her BA in Psychology.
Chel Gilla recognized that success of her restaurant will be difficult to achieve with her passion alone. She created a program for her team at Tselogs that teaches leadership skills along with character and mindset development. Chel believes that everyone in her team is a leader, capable of making decisions. This training program is now approved and recognized by the State of California.
Her degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Real Estate Course at CCSF helped her apply cognitive & theoretical approaches in managing her business. Prior to creating Tselogs, Chel Gilla was a Senior Account Specialist at Merrill Lynch in which she handled approximately $300 billion in daily trade settlements. Managed client accounts through contract delivery and settlement processes, from post-execution through post-settlement. Her experience at Merrill Lynch made her realize that the possibilities are endless.
