Charles Portelli

Charles Portelli is a licensed architect and Director of Design Technology at Flux.io where he leads the integrations team to help develop and expand the seamless integration of geometry and data across multiple applications used in the AEC industry. His role allows him to engage with various different levels of the product development bridging the worlds of the AEC industry and application development.

Formerly, Charles was an Associate Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox where he led the Computational Geometry Group for several years, specializing in solving and documenting complex geometry. Charles earned a Bachelor’s of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and a Master’s degree from the Produce Architecture Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has taught at Pratt, City Tech, and NJIT.

Charles’ work has been displayed at RTC, ACADIA, Skyscraper Museum, NY Center for Architecture, and guest lectured at M.I.T.
