Cecil is a native Floridian and a graduate of Shorter University where he received his bachelor of arts in public relations and advertising and the University of West Florida where he received his master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership. Having been with Real Chemistry over the past year, Cecil has worked alongside Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, the Black Coalition Against Group, Horizon Therapeutics, Intra Cellular Therapies and more working to tackle issues of vaccine hesitancy, health equity/racial health disparities and mental health. Most recently, he has begun working on the Global Inclusion and Health Equity team to address internal and external DEI related initiatives.
Prior to joining the Real Chemistry, Cecil served as the Digital Communications Intern for the Campaign for Southern Equality where he helped work to achieve lived and legal equality for LGBTQ Southerners. Additionally, Cecil worked as a Communications Intern for the University of West Florida’s Office of Equity and Diversity as well as served as a Public Relations and Marketing Communications Intern for Mitchell Communication Groups, Moore Communications Group and Shorter University’s Office of Institutional Communications.
