    Entrepreneurship and education are Cathy's life calling and that's why she has two career tracks. She is currently the Assistant Director of TechFW, a technology incubator that helps entrepreneurs launch and grow emerging technology companies. From 2015-2019, she was a multi-award business advisor of the Tarrant Small Business Development Center (Tarrant SBDC) - the largest business assistance network in the U.S. She assisted a portfolio of 350 small businesses with writing business plans, financial projections, business loan structuring

    and helping them gain access to $27 million of capital.

    In her other career track, she has taught Business at Tarrant County College for a decade now and enjoys connecting her students with prominent business leaders in the DFW area. Some of her classroom guest speakers are former CEO of Verizon Wireless, Chief Technology Officer of Carter Blood Care and many other successful entrepreneurs in DFW. Her students rave that they have learned the best practical business skills to becoming successful in her class and in life. Cathy earned her Executive MBA degree from University of Texas at Arlington and two college degrees from Vietnam: English Linguistics and International Trade. She is married for over a decade and has 2 young sons. In her free time she enjoys cooking gourmet meals to feed her hungry family. Since the pandemic, she started hiking and dabbling in mountain biking.
