Cat is a design leader and educator living in the Bay Area who is passionate about art, architecture, and product design. When she is not behind a computer she is home trying a new recipe, practicing bread shaping & scoring skills, or planning adventures around the world with her fiance Michael.

Cat come from a design background, and after a few years designing print in San Francisco, she had a curiosity for the internet. She quit her job and started her pursuit for an official web design position. Cat's first opportunity was at "Gloss" which was later acquired by Estee Lauder. As a Junior Web Designer her most important responsibility was to knock out backgrounds of product shots and optimized them for the web. It wasn't too exciting, but by the end of my tenure she had designed and developed a one shopping cart e-commerce experience between multiple brands within the Estee Lauder Cosmetics family. Since then Cat has been fortunate enough to follow her curiosities and practice design in many companies around the Bay Area. Most recently, she managed designers at Indeed.com. She knows that software has changed a lot both in development and design. But one thing remains - the infinite opportunities, ideas, & possibilities to experience when building products with really cool, smart people.
