Orlando
My name is Caroline Bielby and I am a UX Designer in Orlando, FL (soon to be Tallahassee, FL come the end of January). After a rewarding six-year profession in the nonprofit sector and wearing many different hats, I was drawn to working with technology. I wanted to connect people with technology and products through compassionate writing and empathetic design. I wanted to improve interaction and engagement and resolve the disconnect between the engaged and the disengaged. Enter in UX Design! I graduated from General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive in April 2019 in Chicago, IL. I am currently freelancing and have a long-term gig (40 hrs/week for the foreseeable future) with a small startup called Tower Education Technologies. My title is Prototype Specialist, where I mostly do UI work building many iterations of a prototype for their software. I work on a design team of three and a product team of nine, where we have scrum meetings daily. I also do projects on the side helping nonprofits and clients update/create their websites.
