Cara is a human-centered designer who creates services, products, and experiences for non-profit organizations, start-ups and fortune 500 companies that result in positive impact for people and business.Cara has managed and designed for a diverse array of clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for which she brought together interdisciplinary teams to approach and redefine health care, financial services, and health insurance experiences from a design-thinking perspective. As passionate educator and design workshop facilitator, she strives to foster an inclusive and expansive learning environment for students and attendees. She began her career in design with an undergraduate degree at the Evergreen State College and pursued continued education at the School of Visual Arts and Cooper Union.
