Candace is a self-proclaimed Jill of All Trades, with a background in both front-end development and UX/UI design. Before teaching at GA, Candace worked as a lead front-end engineer on the product team at Blavity, Inc., an online publication targeting Black millennials. She also managed a $6M territory for an international fashion brand. Candace serves as a mentor to emerging professional designers and developers, helping them build their self-confidence and prepare for a career in tech. When she isn't working, you can find Candace painting, watching her favorite Netflix shows, or sharpening her design and coding expertise.
