Calvin recently joined GSG ltd. as a Data Scientist. GSG ltd. is a fintech startup who provide algorithmic trading solution to retail investors. Prior starting a data science career, Calvin was a climate scientist and his researches was focus on Statistical Downscaling, which apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict regional impacts of Climate Change from the IPCC projections. Calvin has a PhD from HKU and he spent two years as a postdoc fellow in CUHK, in order to transfer to data science from academia, he took the GA Data Science program in 2016.
