Brittany Blum is the co-founder of Ritual hot yoga in San Francisco and MatSnaps, an innovative hot yoga product. Brittany built her career in the fashion industry in NYC working in merchandising for several powerhouse brands such as BCBG, Nordstrom, and Michael Kors before getting recruited by lululemon to move out to SF. During her first three years in SF Brittany worked in management and community building for lululemon. It was during her time at lululemon that she found her confidence as a leader, understanding of the San Francisco yoga industry, and met her business partner Lindsey Kaalberg. The two first tested their business abilities when they started MatSnaps, which is a set of four small clips that keep your yoga towel from moving around on your mat during your practice. While continuing to grow the MatSnaps brand, they decided to embark on another journey, called Ritual Hot Yoga, which they described as the SoulCyle of yoga. As president and co-founder, Brittany works in close partnership with co-founder Lindsey to direct the vision and growth of both companies. Brittany's focus and expertise lies in brand building, product design and sourcing, strategic marketing, and customer experience.
