Brian Truong currently serves as the Creative manager for the LA Clippers. In this role, Truong guides the LA Clippers brand and creative efforts by influencing the ideas, thoughts and overall identity direction of the organization’s visual voice and systems. He manages creative direction, design and production of print and digital collateral materials to ensure all elements mirror correct brand usage, campaigns and team objectives.
Truong got his start with the Clippers in 2013 as a Digital Marketing Assistant before leaving to BuzzFeed Motion Pictures to serve as a Video Curation Specialist. In late 2014, he made his way back to the Clippers to serve as the Creative Services Specialist, where he acted as the lead designer and digital curator for the organization.
A recipient of the NBA’s Sponsorship Innovation Award in 2016, Truong lead the team to win this coveted award by providing the creative direction for the LA Clippers' DTLAC platform, an event which has since become a staple in the Clippers’ home schedule.
Truong is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where he received a B.A. in Business Administration, Marketing and Marketing Management. A proud Los Angeles native, he can always be found eating locally grown avocados and searching for the perfect craft IPA.
