Brian graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Spanish. Eager to dive into the startup world, he joined Austin Ventures as part of their inaugural analyst class. After two years of evaluating potential investments ranging from social media to concrete striping, he decided to join a startup himself and landed a role in business analytics at one of Austin Ventures' flagship investments -- RetailMeNot, a global leader in the coupon space. Initially an army of one, Brian now manages a team of 7 analysts dedicated to making sense of the company's most challenging content questions.
