Brian Dear

CEO & Cofounder, iCouch

London

Brian Dear is an American software engineer and cofounder of iCouch. He started the company with licensed psychologist Jessica Dear in 2010 originally to provide services to expat communities in East Asia.

He has been involved with mental health technology for over 7 years and is a pioneer in online video therapy technology. He was the first to develop an iPhone application that provided therapy using in-app purchases. Brian also was a part of world's first cloning of the domestic cat while a research fellow at Texas A&M University. When he's not writing code he enjoys producing electronic dance music and playing with his 3 kids at his house in the South of France.
