Brian Bar is the Founder and CEO of Victory Lap, a Chicago based sales career readiness platform and talent marketplace. Victory Lap helps sales professionals succeed sooner in their career and companies hire better sales talent, faster. Since launching in October 2016, 50+ companies such as IBM, Amazon, Sprout Social, and ShipBob have hired Victory Lap graduates. In prior roles, Mr. Bar is known for his experience in hiring and managing fast growing sales teams. During his tenure at Groupon, he saw a need for improving their sales onboarding experience which led him to create, design, and lead the department, where over 750 entry-level sales representatives have used their program to prepare them for a sales career.
In other leadership roles, he was Vice President of Sales and led the national growth strategy for ThinkCERCA, a venture backed education technology company in Chicago shortly after their Series A round.
