    Brett Worthington is the General Manager for Americas and Vice President of Global Business Development at Samsung SmartThings, the easiest way to turn your home into a smart home. In this role, he oversees the development of SmartThings’ partnerships and services globally as well as its go to market strategies. Prior to joining SmartThings, Brett was the General Manager of Wink for 2 years, taking the company from launch to commercialization and its eventual exit sale to Flex Inc. Prior to building and launching Wink, Brett worked in several leadership positions across various business units at Ingersoll Rand Corporation over a period of 13 years. Brett joined Ingersoll Rand in 2001 and ended his tenure as Director of Business Development of its connected home business, Nexia Home Intelligence. Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Brett worked for BMC and served for 10-years in the US Army—he is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom IV & V. Brett holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and resides in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and two children.
