Brandon Colby MD is an expert in the fields of Medical Genetics and Precision Medicine. He specializes in developing genomic technologies that enable the personalization of products and services.
Dr. Colby is the Founder and CEO of Sequencing.com, an online platform for apps and APIs that transform genetic data from any genetic test (such as 23andMe and Ancestry.com) into valuable information. He has also invented numerous patent-pending technologies that make genetic data accessible, actionable and empowering. This includes Real-Time Personalization® (+RTP) technology, which enables iOS, Android and web apps to access the app user’s genetic information in-order to provide a personalized user experience.
Dr. Colby is also author of the popular book Outsmart Your Genes, the definitive guide to genetic testing and personal genomics. He holds an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, a MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a BA in Genetics with Honors from the University of Michigan.
