Bond is the Airbnb for Work Lead across Australia and New Zealand. With over 6 million listings in 191 countries and 100,000 cities, it is one of the world’s fastest growing companies. Airbnb for Work is one of the fastest growing division within Airbnb and now has more than 700,000 active corporate customers on its platform, which includes companies such as Salesforce, Morgan Stanley and Google.
Bond started his career at Deloitte where he consulted for a number of large automotive brands which included Volkswagen, Toyota and Mitsubishi. He previously held a category management role in Microsoft where he helped launched Windows 8 and a marketing & new products lead role at a robotics company called MAR. In 2013, he took a trip to Austin Texas for SXSW and met one of the Airbnb founders which helped spiked his interest in the sharing economy and entrepreneurship. He credits this experience as the turning point in his professional trajectory.
Bond is also currently the Board Advisor of the non profit called Second Chance Initiative. He has also co-founded a number of companies which includes an online men shoes retailer called Tom Ascott, a photography studio called Lebondphotography, a boutique hotel called Aswana and a number of other ventures.
Originally from Sydney with deep roots in Indonesia, he is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and changing the world for the better. Bond has hobbies in photography, bushwalking and basketball.
