Blake is currently the Managing Director for Techstars Cloud. Prior to his current role, Blake was the Director of Next Generation Markets for Rackspace. He led the team focused on development ZeroVM, an open source virtualization technology, after Rackspace acquired LiteStack, the company that created ZeroVM, where he was the Chief Operating Officer.
Blake spent several years helping to build the public clouds for both Rackspace and HP, serving in leadership roles in Product Management. While at Rackspace, he was a part of the team that launched OpenStack, an open source cloud management platform. Blake also worked as the VP of R&D for Gandi Innovations, a startup that manufactured grand-format digital inkjet printers.
Blake volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors for the Brighton Center, and hold a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Computer Engineering.
