Billy Covington has worked for the past fifteen years in Broadcast Television and Visual Effects. Billy has overseen the launch and rebrands of NFL Network and its many shows, including the NFL Draft, the NFL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, NFL Total Access, the international feed of the Super Bowl, and many others, and also co-developed the UI for NFL Network’s first on-air touchscreen apps.
For the past five years, Billy has managed creative projects for Fox Sports, including the rebrands of Fox College Hoops and Fox Soccer.
Billy also handles the graphics needs for Fox Deportes, and was instrumental in implementing the graphics packages for FOX Deportes’ Super Bowl XLVIII telecast (the first ever Super Bowl in Spanish in the U.S.), the 2016 World Series (the 3rd highest-rated non-soccer event in Spanish television history), Super Bowl LI (the 2nd highest-rated non-soccer event), and the 2017 World Series, which ranks as the most-watched non-soccer event in U.S. Spanish television history.
