Bill is the Founder and CEO of GoodCinema, a non-profit organization he launched in 2018 to connect people through film, community, and open dialogue. GoodCinema creates immersive experiences focused on current issues, curating award-winning films, facilitating audience discussions with subject-matter experts and local leaders, and providing a platform for organizations to engage with their communities, building empathy and empowering people to make an impact. Now live streaming events and expanding to new markets, GoodCinema is quickly growing to be a global movement of human connection and activation.
GoodCinema was inspired a few years ago at casual "Documentary Nights" with friends that sparked emotions but didn’t result in action. Triggered by growing frustration with hateful online rhetoric and a deepening division of humanity, Bill was inspired to implement his vision of people watching meaningful films and discussing the topics together as a community, building connections while being guided on a path to change.
