Bethany is an experienced data scientist / machine learning engineer who has spent the past 15 years working in the Bay Area across many different verticals including robotics, pharmaceuticals, computer vision, and ecommerce. She has experience building data teams and infrastructure, scaling data-driven insights across organizations, and deploying machine learning models (including recommendation engines) into production.

Bethany is currently using data science to optimize digital marketing campaigns across diverse channels to maximize customer lifetime value and retention rates, as well as establishing the relevant business metrics and KPIs. She is very passionate about data visualization and has extensive expertise designing dashboards for cross-company transparency and maximum insights.

In her free time, Bethany enjoys attending meetups and conferences and giving talks about her work to stay on the bleeding edge of data science research and technology.
