Barbara is a Technologist and Entrepreneur passionate about fostering technology that educates, empowers and/or connects individuals, and the founding CEO of Cyant (www.cyant.co). She has worked in cutting edge technology areas (computer vision, neurotechnology, and more recently 3D printing), and has worked on and deployed applications in Java, C++, Objective C and Swift. She holds a BEng. and MEng. from the University of Cambridge UK, and a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey, UK. She is an avid hobbyist chef, loves chocolate and bouts of humor.
