Barak Krakauer is a data scientist with Levi Strauss & Co. His focus in on problems related to natural language processing, including topic modeling, clustering, classification, and summarization. Prior to working at Levi’s, he was a data scientist at IBM, and an analyst and instructor for the University of California. He has a PhD in philosophy and has published research related to the analysis of counterfactuals in natural language. He thinks you’d look very stylish in a denim jacket.
