Austin Beer

Austin Beer asks how we can design trust in artificial intelligence. He discovered this question while completing his Masters at Hyper Island. There, he learned the power of Design Thinking for instigating innovation, empathy, and empowerment. He also irrationally believes in the power of using food to solve conflicts.
Austin is an Experience Designer at Huge LA, working on problems facing Seniors, Cancer Researchers, and TV watchers. On the side, he focuses on using technology to help parents be present with their children as well as anthropomorphizing robots.
He has also written and design interactive music videos for musicians including Bob Dylan, Wiz Khalifa, as well as designing games at Atari. Over his brief career, his projects have won 2 Webbys, 4 Cannes Lions, and many more accolades from his users and parents.
