Ashima is co-founder and CEO of Warrior9 VR which is working on the first animated sci-fi series in virtual reality called The PhoenIX. The first episode was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival in 2017.
Ashima has been a storyteller for more than 10 years, first as a journalist in TV news, and then focusing on documentary-style impact stories for distribution online. Her work has been viewed by millions on YouTube, Facebook and other social media. It has been published in The Huffington Post, Yahoo News, Mashable, Rappler.com and other online platforms.
Ashima believes VR is the next frontier in storytelling. She's watched more than 1000 people try VR for the first time and has seen the feelings of wonder and awe that VR is capable of spreading. She started Warrior9 VR to give audiences the most visceral story experiences of their lives.
