Arshiya Lal has led strategy and growth for emerging technology products throughout her career, ranging from the fashion industry to supply chain and retail industries. She currently leads Strategic Alliance Management at Modern Meadow, where she brings bio-fabricated sustainable leather alternatives to brands and informs the future roadmap of Modern Meadow’s materials line. Before coming to Modern Meadow, she led the blockchain developer portfolio and informed partnership strategy, with a focus on supply chain innovation, as a Product Manager at IBM.

She holds expertise in groundbreaking technologies including smart textiles, 3D Printing, augmented reality, virtual reality, and gesture recognition. She has worked on bespoke fashion technology projects including alternative leather and cognitive clothing for Milan Fashion Week and Berlin Fashion Week, which sparked her interest in textile and materials innovation. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys working on international projects and traveling.
