Ariel Pasternak is the founder and CEO of pineapple collaborative, a platform celebrating women’s relationship with food through in-real-life events, blog content and social media that has attracted a growing audience of 20,000+ women as of January 2018. Having worked in hospitality for 5+ years with prior experience in environmental policy, she felt a personal and communal need to create community around the intersection of feminism, food, agriculture and entrepreneurship by highlighting female food leaders.

Prior to pineapple, Ariel was the Director of Branding and Business Development at Chaia, a seasonal vegetable taco shop in Washington, DC, the Mid-Atlantic Market Manager for Stumptown Coffee Roasters and an analyst at Monitor 360.

Ariel graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Ariel is on the junior boards of Hot Bread Kitchen in NYC and FRESHFARM in DC. Ariel is a first generation American.
