Formerly at Medium, Ariel is a storyteller and content strategist working in the social impact space. Prior to Medium, Ariel worked at Upworthy, where she built content partnerships with NGOs, foundations, and advocacy organizations as Nonprofit Partnerships Lead. Before that, she worked in advocacy communications for a human rights organization in the Middle East and co-founded a sustainable fashion startup. Ariel studied Arabic and government at Georgetown University and is an aspirational dog owner living in Brooklyn.
