Anukampa Freedom Gupta-Fonner is the Chief Designer and CEO at Design By Freedom. In her role, she drives industrial design to eliminate the very need to create waste. She also builds partnerships and coalitions, while defining zero waste values. Freedom has a multi-disciplinary academic background with training in management, design, and film-making.

She is an avid outdoors-woman, swimmer, cyclist, and wilderness explorer. In addition to eliminating trash from public lands and water bodies, Freedom is passionate about creating a zero extinctions future for insects, wildlife, and marine life.
