Anu is a Managing Director in the Ignition Innovation practice. In her role, she brings the startup mindset into how KPMG innovates new services and emerging technology in the marketplace. She develops capability and technology innovation strategy, implements new startup-driven processes for innovation, crafts innovation culture initiatives and facilitates targeted ideation challenges across multiple Tax service lines. She also conducts and develops strategic insights, points of view and innovation research to mine signals of change using an outside-in perspective, makes correlations across industries and service areas, and finds patterns in adjacent spaces. As part of this role, she partners with Mass Challenge and other incubators to foster partnerships between an enterprise company such as KPMG and startups. She showcases the research and points of view gathered through insights studies in design thinking sessions with executive leadership to help shape future investments. For strategic projects, Anu works with leadership and subject matter experts using innovation techniques to ensure product market fit for each solution. Anu also serves as the Program Lead for the artificial intelligence strategic growth initiative in Tax where she directs strategic projects involving prioritization, market testing and execution.
