Annie Shaw joined the labor movement by learning from Domino's Pizza food delivery workers and taxi drivers in New York City. She has been organizing with the Garment Worker Center since 2016. At GWC, she and Nayantara Banerjee founded Espacio Creativo, a creative space that combined skill training, political education, and art making. Annie and Nayantara now co-lead our outreach effort to educate ethical and sustainable fashion leaders on important labor issues and build long term alliances.
