Annie became the first graduate in her family in 2010 with a BA in Psychology. She moved from Fresno, CA to San Francisco in 2011. She believes in reaching for the stars and no goal is too big as long as you set your mind to it.
She started her career as a Behavioral Interventionist for 7 years. By the end of that time, she started to explore the realm of tech through customer support roles. During that experience, Annie quickly realized she wanted to be more involved in fixing the bugs she saw on a daily basis. In 2019, she enrolled in a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp at UC Berkeley Extension. Not long after she graduated, she had accomplished her most recent goal of becoming a Web Developer at Rooster Grin Media. Her journey wasn’t easy but having the right mindset and support system makes it possible.
These days you can find her going on walks with her dog Popcorn, baking with her niece, and watercoloring with her friends via Zoom, of course.
