Ankur Srivastava is a Lead Data Scientist at Uptake. He manages a team that finds data driven solutions to business problems for key clients. Currently, his team focuses on building predictive analytics models to detect failure in large mining trucks. Before joining Uptake, he was a Lead Engineer in the Probabilistics Lab at GE Global Research Center where he focused on predictive analytics, reliability and robust design of gas turbine systems. Before joining GE, he completed his postdoctoral work from the Aerospace Engineering department at MIT and obtained his doctoral degree from Mechanical Engineering at Rice University, Houston TX. He has a number of journal papers and conference proceedings in this area and has 3 patents filed.
