Angela Liu places emphasis on empowering people to ask the right questions and teaching them how to build grit and resilience. As a mentor and teacher, she has had exposure to new UX designers from a variety of backgrounds from health, engineering, and legal industries to name a few. She aims to understand people's approaches to their work to tailor her approach to teaching to yield a strong understanding of the subject matter.
As a lead experience designer, she manages across the broad spectrum of UX as a generalist, but has a particular strength in research as she transfers skills learnt from medicine and scientific research to her approach. She has lead several successful projects for government, tertiary education, and startups across a variety of industries such as finance, STEM, agriculture, education, and health.
In her spare time, she likes to dabble in startups, eat good food and spreadsheet everything humanly possible.
