Angel is U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired after a whirlwind 27 year career. His last assignment was as the Executive Officer for the Department of Defense’s Global mail operation center and has deployed seven times to the Middle East. He is a strategy and human resource consultant specializing in corporate veteran engagement. He is the Co-President of the Veteran Leadership Council, on the Board of Directors for Teatro Vista, Chicago Veteran Association and sits on the Chicago Mayor’s advisory board on veteran affairs. Angel holds Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern, a Master’s in Global Business Leadership from University of San Diego an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He lives in Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Carla and their English Mastiff, Bentley.
